Barry Levy has enjoyed a diverse and extensive acting career, from co-starring roles on The X-Files, to to the Pilot of Flight 93, to Scary Movie 4. His broad range as an actor gives him the ability to play everything from hard nosed professionals to warm hearted dads, and everything in between. Over the years he has acted opposite Barbara Hershey, David Arquette, Eric Stoltz, Gillian Anderson, Lance Henrikson, Natstatia Kinski, Stockard Channing, Chris Noth, Christopher Reeve, Joe Pantiliano, Jennifer Beals. Barry Feature Films include A&E's Flight 93, Scary Movie 4, Stephen King's Riding the Bullet, the seasonal favorite Too Cool for Christmas, The Ex, The Risen, and international video artist Stan Douglas's Win, Place or Show which was screened at every major visual arts museum and establishment in the world. Short films include Mark Sawers' Stroke screened in `93 at The Cannes International Film Festival , and he can also be heard on the Japanese cartoon series Silent Moebius. Barry has directed 13 productions for the stage and he wrote, produced, directed and starred in the highly controversial film Spook, which won 8 US festival awards in 2003. Levy has also worked as a Radio broadcaster, and holds a degree in acting from The University of British Columbia. hide |
